• Who is the QAMP certificate aimed at?
  The QAMP certificate aims at software testers, who need competencies in the entire software development process.
• How is the QAMP certification structured?
  The QAMP certification has a modular structure: You have to complete three individual standardized training modules and additionally prove that you have project experience.
• What is the difference between the two compulsory modules and the specified module of choice?
  The compulsory modules require knowledge in the fields of Requirements Engineering (Module 1) and Software-Test (Module 2). The specified module of choice (Module 3) on the other hand comprises the fields of e.g. Software Test Management, Configuration-, Innovation- and Project Management, Secure Software Engineering and Software Architecture. This allows for a tailored training without abandoning the framework of a standardized product- and producer-independent qualification and certification scheme.
• Is the QAMP certificate internationally recognized?
  For every passed module you will receive an independent certificate. All of those individual certificates are internationally valid and comparable. Their content is developed and monitored by experts in the field of industry, consulting, research and education. One example for such an expert group is the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB). The ISTQB, founded in 2002 in Edinburgh, is responsible for the international standard for Software-Test: the internationally valid qualification scheme “ISTQB Certified Tester”.
  At present, for example, around 90,000 candidates in 40 countries hold the ISTQB® Certified Tester Certificate.
• Do I have to complete the three modules in a set order?
  The different modules can be completed in an arbitrary order; unless the different modules or certification exams are based on each other. A prominent example is the Certified Tester Foundation Level (module 1) and the Certified Tester Advanced Level (if this is your module of choice 3). You could not interchange the order of these two modules.
• Do I have to pass the modules in a certain time span?
  The modular system makes it possible for participants to begin the training in one location and continue it in another as circumstances dictate, e.g. in case of re-location or due to requirements of client projects. Successful participation in each module will be documented by certification. Completed module certifications are always recognized as valid without time constraints.
• I have already passed all modules. To whom can I turn to become QAMP?
